About

    Activities

At the Barn there is a wide range of clubs, classes and other activities held throughout the year. For the benefit of those members who have responsibilities within their families for school age activities, we try to keep our activities within the School Year.

Clubs are groups of members who meet regularly though the year.  Examples of these are the Flower Arranging Society, Local History Society, the Natural History Society and various Clubs such as the Bridge Club, the Camera Club, varous Art Clubs, Gardening Club, Scrabble Club, Creative Machine Knitting Club, Counted Cross-Stitch Club and a number of others.

For the younger age group there are Pre-School Groups and Carers and Toddlers Groups.

For the more active there are Keep-fit Groups, Pilates, Yoga and Music and Movement.

In association with Bristol University there are a number of classes.  Typical of these is a course on African History, Aspect of Psychology, The piano Quintet and Six talks on Opera
